                  Crafty Christmas

The Big Draw & Cass Art present: Crafty Christmas Card Competition!

THANK YOU to all who got into the #CraftyXmas spirit and entered our Crafty Christmas card competition this year, in partnership with Cass Art!

This competition has now closed. Please view the winning entries here.

                  Background

As the nights draw in and the days draw cold, it seems the drawing season has well and truly arrived! Brrr... It's time to sharpen your pencils, pull out your sketch books and get ready to celebrate a Crafty Christmas with Cass Art and The Big Draw!

This year, in partnership with Cass Art, we are pleased to be launching a ‘Crafty Christmas’  card competition and to invite you and your friends and family to get involved - the more the merrier!

Enter this fun festive drawing challenge for a chance to win prizes that will support a whole season of craft and creativity. Not only are there fabulous art vouchers to be won, but winning entries will be printed and stocked by The Big Draw. They will also be sent to The Big Draw's illustrious Patrons, Ambassadors and partners.

That's right - Quentin Blake himself could be admiring your Crafty Christmas card design when it arrives through his letterbox!

                  THE COMPETITION

As the temperature dips, this competition is the perfect indoor activity and a great way to start celebrating a Crafty Christmas season. We are looking for cards that celebrate a Crafty Christmas season in all its forms. You could take inpsiration from The Big Draw Ambassador, Frances Quinn, and illustrate your favourite Christmas recipe. You could paint your perfect Christmas scene or create a cartoon about your favourite Christmas cracker joke. You could even drop some hints and draw instructions for someone to create a beautiful homemade Christmas present for you.

Importantly, the card should make us smile and be fun to make. Even more importantly, it should inspire those lucky enough to receive it to have a Crafty Christmas themselves.

                  ELIGIBILITY

Age: There is no age limit (either way) for this competition, but please state your age so that you are considered in the relevant category.

Artwork: Entrants will be able to upload up to 2 designs each. Any printable medium is permitted, including drawing, painting, digital drawing and collage.
