"The Other Me" is a drawing and photography project exploring alternative identities, youth, imagination and creativity in a playful and visual hands-on way as part of the library's annual Anime Attacks event. This will form part of the Big Draw Festival 2021-2022 "The Other Me" is a drawing and photography project exploring alternative identities, youth, imagination and creativity in a playful and visual hands-on way as part of the library's annual Anime Attacks event. This will form part of the Big Draw Festival 2021-2022 :- Theme: "Make the Change".

In addition to the library's planned 15min Cosplay Photoshoots for young people, there will also be:
  • A DIY Selfie Station: An area where young people can take their own photos/selfies of themselves too behind hand-drawn cardboard frames. 
  • Guess Who! game stations: for  get-to-know-each-other, game and interaction
  • Yearbook Mural collaborative Instagrammable drawing activity
  • Then afterwards, each drawing contribution will be photographed and this can be turned into a zine as a nice keepsake of the event.
