Leigh Ann will be demonstrating more about botanical drawing with the tuppenny barn heritage orchard being the subject. Tuppenny Barn has a heritage orchard with 134 top fruit trees. Leigh Ann Gale, a RHS award winning botanical artist ( has been invited to run a workshop on 16th Oct.  She will be basing herself in the orchard and will be teaching the skills of botanical drawing with its techniques.

The event is part of Tuppenny Barn's 12 month Heritage Lottery Funded orchard project, where over the course of a year there will be research done into the various varieties of top fruit grown within the orchard, initially planted in 2006.

Tuppenny Barn is a charity that aims to teach children and the community about all aspects of sustainability, its key focus being food education.  It is situated on a hectare of organic horticulture Soil Association accredited land.

The charity is situated in an iconic sustainably built circular education centre, which is known locally as a beacon of sustainability.
