Plant a sculptural flower in our community garden!
Take inspiration from the Skip Gallery's floral bouquet on our sculpture terrace and help us create a sculptural flower garden.
This October, to celebrate The Big Draw Festival and its 2023 theme ‘Drawing with Senses’, we invite you to create a sculptural flower to be planted in our community garden which will be on display during October half-term from 21st- 30th October.
Visit us at Dora House to make your own floral creation, or craft your flower at home and deliver it to us at 108 Old Brompton Road to have it added to our co-created garden installation.
Visit the event page to find some free downloadable resources to make your very own sculptural flower at home, using easy to find materials such as paper and wool.
However, sculptural flowers can be created in so many different ways, from wire, wood, clay, found objects and more. There are over 400,000 types of flowers in the world to inspire your design, or let your imagination run wild and create your very own unique flower.
We can’t wait to see what you create and to watch our community garden blossom and flourish!
*This event will be photographed. Please speak to a member of staff at the front desk if you would like to opt out.
With thanks to John Lyon's Charity for supporting our Big Draw programme.
