360 virtual reality music video
Carol Of The Sea Swallows
ONLINE EVENT
Watch the remarkable film, inspired by the theme Climate of Change. It is a wintery Arctic landscape populated by endangered animals in their habitat.
The entire stop-motion film has been made by professional artists from Animate Arts and children from primary schools across Ashford in Kent. The scenery and animals are made entirely from paper and cardboard, referencing the importance of recycling and repurposing our waste materials.
The makers found their creative voices starting with drawing to the soundtrack. The water is full of hand-drawn marks by every single child involved in the project, and each animal has been designed, drawn and built by the children. It has come alive with teh help of artists from Animate Arts who filmed the video in Revelation Ashford during the covid lockdown.
Watch this film on any mobile device, VR headset or laptop. You can move around the landscape to see all the activity in this paper Arctic.
