Collaborative Art Project with our Sister city art club in Iizuka, Japan Iizuka Art Club -- Blind Reference Photo After seven months of relationship building with Sunnyvale's sister city art club, the Iizuka Art Association (IAA), we are engaging in a "blind reference" project. Art club members on both sides of the Pacific will recreate portions of a larger reference image. The idea is to keep the reference image a secret until all the sections are completed and compiled artwork revealed. The image is of historical significance in Iizuka and the final artwork will be mounted and displayed in Sunnyvale. This is a very special project recognized by dignitaries in both cities. The secret reference image has been divided into 28 sections. 14 of the sections for Iizuka club members and 14 sections for SAC members. Artists will recreate the image in their own style and medium on paper or canvas
