Canary Bunting display. Students and the school community are invited to create bunting for our canary craftivist project.   We will be inspired by the #canarycraftivism shared by the Craftivist Collective:  we will be presenting our local MP with a hand made canary and inviting him to view our collaborative artwork and see how passionately our school community feels about their environment.   Each piece of bunting will be created thoughtfully and beautifully on one side and on the other, it will also share each person's individual feeling about their green spaces and how they will lower their own carbon emissions.

Each bunting template contains a canary: The canary is the symbol used for this project because they need clean air and in the past were used to give warning signals to miners that the air was too toxic to work in. We chose bunting so that our canary's can fly high around our school, beautifying our area and reminding us that we need to be more considerate of our surroundings.

Members of our school community can download a template from the school website or twitter and need to return their bunting by Friday 9th July 2021. All the bunting will be assembled by our future leaders and displayed in September.
