Using the setting of Knole and the wild deer herd as inspiration, join potter Emily Chilvers and create your own deer themed creation in clay. Emily will demonstrate and guide you through how to make your plate or wall plaque, using decorative techniques such as stencilling and sgraffito. One of Knole's volunteer deer rangers will give a short 15 minute talk about the patterns and behaviours of the deer at this time of year.
Your clay items will be taken away for firing and will need to be collected from Knole 2 weeks after the workshop.
No experience needed and all materials, drinks and biscuits provided. This event is aimed at adults.
