FACES, PLACES Library Workshop
Beeston Library, Notts
Tue 26 Oct 10am - 12pm
Create a portrait tile as part of Inspire's FACES, PLACES Big Draw! Inspire's Big Draw this year is linked to Hetain Patel’s Mayflower inspired project LANDING, which came to be with the help of young people from Bassetlaw and is all about our relationship to place and belonging, wherever we land.

FACES, PLACES will celebrate place and our connection to it, by inviting you to make a mass portrait of the county! Book onto one of Inspire's Library Workshops and explore portraiture together!

Inspire libraries will have FREE material kits with easy to follow instructions and FACES, PLACES card tiles to draw or paint your portrait on. (Available to collect from 1 October, free of charge while stocks last.)

Simply pick up a FACES, PLACES kit from a library and book a place. You will learn fun ways of drawing a portrait, understanding the basic proportions of a face and how to add character.
