Inch by IN:CH is a travelling project touring to The West Somerset Railway from 25 Sept-3 Oct, as part of Somerset Open Studios. The work will be shown in their unique Victorian Sleeping car, with suitcases/artworks spilling out onto the platform.
Linked to the work on show, we will explore different sculptural processes and materials to create 3-d structures using recycled materials, found objects, air drying clay and paint. You will discover new techniques combining drawing and sculpture. Tools and materials will be supplied. There is a materials cost of £5pp, payable in advance, which secures your booking.
All are welcome!
We would like adults to join in too.
This workshop is supported by Somerset Art Works as part of the Open Studios Family Friendly Weekend programme and SAW’s Big Draw programme 2021.
