Spending time by water, enjoying nature and taking part in creative activities can make us feel happier and healthier, so let's go outdoors on a SketchCrawl at The National Waterways Museum Gloucester!

What is a SketchCrawl?

SketchCrawling is a really fun way to share your love of drawing or to give drawing a go, maybe for the very first time. SketchCrawls are open to everyone, whatever their age or ability and are a fun activity to do together as a family bubble. The idea of a SketchCrawl is to walk around stopping at various places to capture the things you see around you, there are no rules, you can draw whatever catches your eye and we think you’ll find lots of drawing inspiration at The National Waterways Museum and Gloucester Docks but look out for the SketchCrawl points at as we think these views are interesting to sketch.

What equipment do I need?

You can pick up a sketch pad, pencil and map of the SketchCrawl points at the welcome desk and you'll also want to be dressed for the outdoors.

Please note although the SketchCrawl activity is free to take part in there is an entrance fee into the museum:
Adult (16+) £8.50. Child (6-15) £5.00. Child (5 and under) Free. Family £20.00. Concession £7.50
