Fantastic Flints
Part of Workshop Wednesdays Henry Moore Studios & Gardens
Wed 21 Aug 12:00 - 16:00
Visit Henry Moore's former home for this summer holiday workshop looking at flint sculptures and repeating patterns. Choose a flint pebble and let its shape inspire you to create a mini sculpture. Henry Moore often used flints as the inspiration or starting point for his maquettes (small working models). Why not visit the Bourne Maquette studio to see his work before you drop in to the workshop.

The workshop team will also be looking at Moore's elephant drawings and etchings, using them as a starting point for repeating motif artworks.

Workshop Wednesdays are suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Entry is included in a Henry Moore Studios & Gardens admission ticket. Drop-in from 12 - 4pm, no booking necessary.
