An online group designed to encourage people of all ages and abilities to connect with the wildlife on their doorstep through drawing.
Connecting and creating within a supportive group where we share our sketches, drawings, doodles and images of nature and the wonderful wildlife around us.
Begun during the summer of 2020 as a response to the isolation and disconnectedness that many were feeling, I wanted to encourage people to take a closer look at the nature on their doorstep, on windowsills or further afield and engage with it by making drawings.
In doing this I think it is possible to experience peace and that special connection to something bigger than ourselves that comes with simply looking closely at nature and being in the moment.
For 2 weeks from 14th to 30th October I am running a little competition to try to engage as many people as possible in this activity and offering stickers, certificates and my beautiful Big Draw Climate of Change T-shirt as a prize!
