Here & Now: An opportunity to make marks and explore drawing as a tool for well being and creativity From Monday 21 - Friday 25 October 2019, students and staff of Oxford Sixth Form College are warmly invited to pause, take time out and enjoy making marks on a piece of paper.

Beginning with two introductory lunchtime workshops for staff, this process of art making will be developed within taught classes and shared with students as the week continues. Participants will be encouraged to express themselves creatively through choice of colour, drawing materials and mark making in response to a series of prompts.  There will be opportunities to select, and discard, preferred areas of the drawings produced through the production of a folded book.  In addition, a section of each drawing will be used to form one collaborative artwork as a celebration of  the 2019 Big Draw project.

If you are a student or member of staff at Oxford Sixth Form College, and you would like to be actively creative, express yourself, navigate challenges and re-connect please do get involved and participate.
