Fri 25 Oct 10:30 - 12:00
Fri 25 Oct 13:00 - 14:30
For children aged 7-12, create and draw your own ‘epic’ story. In this workshop you can learn about how to tell a story in one picture or in a series of drawings like a comic book or storyboard. Taking inspiration from the story told in the Painted Hall and comparing it to a great movie of its day. Part of The Big Draw, the world's biggest celebration of drawing, Nick’s workshops will get children seeing and thinking about their world through the lens of an artist. Using the Old Royal Naval College grounds and stunning Painted Hall as inspiration, the workshops will incorporate a range drawing skills. As well as illustrating our marvellous family trail, Nick’s illustrations have also featured in The Guardian, on book covers and in exhibitions all over the UK.
