Nick Ellwood
Part of Illustrate with Nick Ellwood Old Royal Naval College
Thu 24 Oct 10:30 - 12:00
Thu 24 Oct 13:00 - 14:30
For children aged 7-12, taking inspiration from the many faces in the Painted Hall, children will get tips on how to draw peoples faces and how to draw sad, happy, angry, kind and crazy faces. Part of The Big Draw, the world's biggest celebration of drawing, Nick’s workshops will get children seeing and thinking about their world through the lens of an artist. Using the Old Royal Naval College grounds and stunning Painted Hall as inspiration, the workshops will incorporate a range drawing skills. As well as illustrating our marvellous family trail, Nick’s illustrations have also featured in The Guardian, on book covers and in exhibitions all over the UK.
