Paintings Conservator Melanie Caldwell will talk about projects undertaken on paintings at Knole, including the Grotesque scheme in the Cartoon Gallery, the early Portrait of Sir Ralph Bosville from around 1600 and Sir Joshua Reynold’s Portrait of Huang Ya Dong.
Normal admission charges to Knole apply. To use the National Trust car park, pre-book admission per person (not per vehicle) to guarantee entry. National Trust members visit and park free; non-members will need to purchase an admission ticket to Knole. The minimum admission ticket required is an Outdoor and Tower ticket (£6 for adults and £3 for children aged 5-17) or a ticket that includes admission into the showrooms is also available.
