Making Masterpieces in Sheffield & Venice
Grace Foster and Alex Ekins
Part of Ruskin in Sheffield Yorkshire Artspace: Exchange Place Studios
Fri 18 Oct 10am - 9pm
Street art activities and film projections inspired by Venetian painter Tintoretto and British Victorian art critic John Ruskin. 10am to 6pm: All welcome to drop in and take part in street art activities inspired by Venetian painter Jacopo Tintoretto and British Victorian art critic John Ruskin.

Get your photograph taken in our pop-up studio, then embellish it with paint, stencils and spray cans.  Paste it onto the hoardings next to Exchange Place Studios to help create a new mural inspired by Tintoretto's epic 'fast and furious' paintings.

6pm - 9pm:  Watch images of the day's activities in Sheffield, and a simultaneous Big Draw Festival in Venice, projected onto Exchange Place Studios.

This event is a collaboration between the Guild of St George, Yorkshire Artspace, Museums Sheffield, Scuola Grande di San Rocco, University of Sheffield and the Big Draw Festival.
