Working over two sessions you will work on using watercolour techniques to paint two geese in flight, against an autumnal background. Create a watercolour painting of migrating Greylag Geese with guidance from Tutor Bethany Y Milam. Working over two sessions you will work on using watercolour techniques to paint two geese in flight, against an autumnal background. Follow the demonstration step by step, using colour washes and texture techniques. Learn how to draw and paint the wings and feathers of these birds in flight.
The sessions will each last approximately two hours. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and I will make some time for individual feedback on your artwork at the end of the session (you may need to allow another 15 mins on class time if you would like feedback).
Sessions are recorded and a link will be emailed to participants after the event. If you cannot make the workshop time/date you can still take part by catching up later with the recording.

Materials
Reference photo (Printed out). The reference I will be using is available to download from a link on your ticket.
HB pencil
Putty rubber / Eraser
Watercolour Paper (Cold Pressed, A4, I recommend stretching the paper on board) plus some paper for testing colours.
Paintbrushes
Watercolour Paint
Palette
Water Pots
Paper Towels/Kitchen Paper
Spray/Misting Bottle (Optional)
Masking Fluid (Removable) and Soap/Washing up Liquid (Optional but recommended)
White gouache or white ink / pen (Optional)
An Apron and something to cover your table with.
