Use the autumnal colour of Knole Park as inspiration as you discover techniques needed to portray the colours and textures that surround us at this time of year.
Led by artist Amber Halsall, this one-day course in coloured pencil would suit both beginners and the more experienced. Using inspiration found in the autumnal parkland at Knole, you'll discover techniques needed to portray the colours and textures that surround us at this time of year.
Techniques on this course will include layering and blending to create colour and depth, mixing colours to match the shades, and the use of embossing techniques to create realistic texture and detail. There will be regular demonstrations throughout the day and plenty of one-to-one guidance, enabling you to work at your own pace.
All materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring any autumn inspiration you want to use for reference or your own pencils.
Drinks and biscuits included. This event is aimed at adults.
