The Big Draw
Academy Center of the Arts
Sat 12 Oct 10:00am - 12:00pm
Join The Big Draw Festival at the Academy Center of the Arts on Saturday, October 12 from 10:00am to 12:00pm as a part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Art has been proven to provide an outlet and a way to process emotions in the midst of challenges such as breast cancer, and the Academy seeks to support the creative process as a way to bring breast cancer patients hope, love, and value. The event is free and family-friendly and will consist of several art stations where families can make fun art projects to take home as well as meaningful creative gifts to be given to local breast cancer patients in the community. These stations will consist of projects such as acrylic pour painting, creative rock painting, card printmaking, and expressive drawing.

The event is open to all families and former and current breast cancer patients in the community. While the event is free, we are asking that families register through the link below so that we may have a head count:

We hope you will join us to support these individuals through art and creativity together as a community!
