Create a sculpture from recyclable materials. Inspired by the artwork ‘Theodore Garman: The sculpture of his son that Jacob Epstein never made’, 2009 by Bob and Roberta Smith, for which the artist sourced spare scrap materials from within The New Art Gallery Walsall and surrounding areas.

Suitable for all ages, though preschool children will require assistance from an older child or adult.

Family Friendly Facilities: The Gallery has lift access to all floors and is buggy friendly, breastfeeding friendly and has baby change facilities on the ground floor.   There is an interactive gallery on the ground floor, for hands on activities.  We also have Art Trail Bags for families to borrow, connected to our temporary exhibitions and Collections.  Staff are very welcoming.  We are also an Autism and Dementia friendly venue.
