Under the Sea Costume Parade
Mispillion Art League
Part of The 2021 Big Draw Festival Delaware Bicentennial Park
Sat 30 Oct 9am-11am
Socially distanced, “Under the Sea” themed parade with handmade costumes made out of recycled and found materials. Due to a rise in Covid cases and concern for the health and safety of our children and volunteers, we had to scale back some of our plans for this year's Big Draw Festival DE.

We are inviting our community to participate in an “Under the Sea” themed costume parade by making a costume out of recycled and found materials and joining our "socially distanced" parade! We'll gather at Bicentennial Park in downtown Milford on Oct. 30 at 9:00 am (NE Front Street, next to Arena’s Restaurant parking lot).

The parade will walk over the pedestrian bridge across the Mispillion River, and along the Riverwalk to the Farmers Market where you can join the “Spooktacular” Halloween trick or treat fun!

This is not just for kids! All ages are welcome to participate!! (In fact our Chair, Rosemary Connelly will be leading the parade in full costume!)

Please note that we will be complying with any State of Delaware/CDC COVID-19 guidelines as well as any restrictions that the Farmers Market may be observing."Neptune's Crown" by WJ Walton; photographs by Robert Neary See Less
