Artists & scientists will guide you along the Art/Science Trail about the Future of Food. Make your mark on the foodie microbe doodle board! Meet outside the Forum as part of Norwich Science Festival to enjoy the first guided tours around the Edible East Art/Science Trail about the Future of Food.
Find out about the latest research into food and gut microbes and health from scientists from the Quadram Institute.
Use coloured pastels to draw on the foodie doodle board to make your mark on the trail.
Discuss sustainable food growing in a time of climate emergency and chat about the creation of the trail. Tell us your food stories as we walk.
Allow an hour and a half for the whole thing, come and go as you feel able. Suitable for all ages.Wheelchair accessible. We will walk from the Forum to the Norwich Castle gates, via London St, to the Museum of Norwich, via Strangers Hall to the back of St Margarets Church of Art on Benedict St. Keen people can return via St Michal of Plea, Hungate and even Norwich Cathedral herb garden (maybe). We are flexible, there are a few benches to rest on as necessary.
