Workshop: Drawing Sequential Imagery
Molly Andrews with Eye to Pencil
Part of Summer Evening Workshops Eye to Pencil Studio
Thu 19 May 6:30-8:30pm
In this sequential imagery workshop led by Molly Andrews, we will be drawing from film and television stills to create new and unexpected narratives. WORKSHOP  DESCRIPTION
How can our drawings start to tell stories? Molly Andrew’s drawings and paintings feature amalgamations of figures and scenarios that cite popular culture and personal experience. This combination opens up new possibilities, which will also explore in her workshop.

Molly Andrews is an artist and animator from London, and is currently illustrating a graphic novel version of "The Man in the Blue Mask" by John Creasey.

Format: Our summer series of workshops will focus on extending drawing through low-tech, low cost, DIY techniques, with the aim to share skills. Workshop leaders will give a brief introduction to their practice, followed by a short demonstration of their approach with materials. See how emerging creatives are using drawing in their practices, and have a go yourself, to learn the rudiments of new techniques.

Thursday, 19 May
