This workshop led by Mario Veselinov will explore the use of repetition and iteration as a resourceful way to experiment with drawing approaches.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Mario Veselinov is leading his first workshop with us in the studio this term, and will be exploring the use of repetition and iteration as a resourceful way to experiment with drawing approaches. In this workshop with Mario, we will be seeing how drawing the same image repeatedly can create a kind of intimacy with a subject, and getting into a state of flow more easily. Mario describes this as perfect for ‘drawers who are trying to get over a creative block’. We will explore mark making, colour and tone, and seeing what arises from the repetition of imagery.
Mario is an artist based in London, and is studying illustration at Camberwell, UAL.
