Eye to Pencil Studio
Sketchbooks can be receptacles for notes, and visual observations. This workshop is led by Molly Martin who shares ideas on forming drawing habits and how to capture everyday things around us.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Molly Martin is an artist and illustrator who works constantly in her sketchbooks. She will share her ideas on how to use your sketchbooks more regularly in order to capture and notate everyday things and the world around us. In this workshop Molly will guide participants through a day of filling up sketchbooks, using a variety of materials and different approaches. This will include drawing still life, observational drawing, sketching figures, and going out on location to capture local street life with the cafes in Exmouth Market. This is an inspirational day of drawing on a small scale to get you back in the habit of using your sketchbook.
