Fossil Handling - with a twist!
Rotunda Museum
Tue 30 Oct 10:30am-12pm & 1:30pm-3pm
Fossil Handling with a twist! Take inspiration from our collections and draw, draw, draw! Celebrate the world’s biggest drawing festival at the Art Gallery, the Rotunda Museum and Eastfield Community Library with drop in drawing activities and unique, one-off workshops this half term. This year’s theme is Play! – for kids and big kids alike. Let loose, embrace happy accidents, and unleash your creativity!

There will be drop in activities throughout the week at the Rotunda Museum and Scarborough Art Gallery for all to enjoy. For the festival this year, we are also partnering with Eastfield Community Library – More Than Books, where there will be fossil drawing activities throughout the week.

To celebrate The Big Draw we are offering our popular Fossil Handling sessions with a twist! Take inspiration from our collections and draw, draw, draw! You will also get the opportunity to explore prehistoric times and find out about dinosaur footprints in hands-on sessions with our fossil experts.
