The Concepts Drawing Challenge

Running from 9 -30 October 2021, the Concepts Drawing Challenge invites entrants to think of how they can tackle a key area or make a positive difference within their community or environment to help #MaketheChange. Entrants will draw a sketch about it in the Concepts app, and write a description about their idea and what they hope it will accomplish.

All entrants for the Challenge are encouraged to share their sketch on Instagram, along with the description and the hashtags #thebigdrawconceptschallenge, #makethechange, #contest and #conceptsapp to enter. After the Challenge closes on 30 October 2021, a judging panel will meet to select the top 10 prize winners!

For each entry, Concepts will donate $25 USD to The Big Draw charity. The top ten winners will also receive a prize or set of prizes!

This challenge is now closed. Thank you for your entries. News about the winners can be found below.

1. @ashorestudio - In areas with heavy rainfall, water sensitive urban design features like permeable paving and rain gardens can help to cleanse nearby water sources from overflowing pollutants.

2. @le_sam_hosseini - To help refugees with few opportunities, a pop-up market called UrbanBazar can become a mobile meeting point in Munich to encourage empathy and cultural conversation.

3. @polpenoret_oret - In residential areas, there can be little room for vegetation, leaving the air around you unclean. Planting trees and greenery in your area can help to both cleanse and cool the air.
