Concepts Drawing Challenge

Join us for the Concepts + The Big Draw Drawing Challenge

This June, Concepts App and The Big Draw challenge you to create an imaginary creature!

Whether you’re a fan of fairies or a lover of dragons, what would your own imaginary creature look like? This month, we invite you to stretch those creative muscles and dream up a creature of your very own. Take inspiration from myths and magical worlds, robotic futures or space adventures - but embrace the creativity and shake up the rules! Maybe your creature lives on another planet, maybe it can only survive in one place. Or maybe it has special abilities. Let your creativity go wild, and share your creations with us!

  • Create your imaginary creature. What does your creature look like? How does it get around? Imagine your creature's world, environment and family. What can they do that makes them the best placed or most adapted for this way of life? Play with how you would visualize your imaginary creature in your drawing.

  • If you'd like to get social, share your imaginary creature drawn in Concepts along with a description of what they are and what they can do on Instagram, Twitter or Reddit for a chance to win great prizes. Details on how to enter are below.

We can’t wait to see your creatures! Thanks for participating in our Concepts +The Big Draw January drawing challenge.

April Drawing Challenge: Design A Birdhouse WINNERS!

With spring in the air, we asked you to design a birdhouse in Concepts in April - and you all created some lovely homes for our feathered friends.

Discover our three winning entries below!

1st Place: Ana Lucía Juárez @analujua “I conceived my project as a small contribution to some of the most vulnerable species in Japan.” Ana took inspiration from the Cherry Blossom flower, considering each element of the design to ensure the most protection and comfort for these birds.

2nd Place: A fantastical birdhouse concept was created by with climate change concerns as a central theme. They built this birdhouse using recycled materials such as milk cartons as the base and included whimsical amenities and luxuries to make any bird (or human) happy to be home.

3rd Place: Taking inspiration from nature, @sree_savage designed a safe and comfortable shelter for Indian House Sparrows. Eco-friendly bamboo materials, resistant to pests and diseases, make this house durable and eco-friendly.

Thank you to everyone for sharing your sketches with us!
