Look, draw, and learn in this fun, free interactive workshop led by Ben Street, author of the award-winning 'How to be an Art Rebel'!
In this session, we’ll explore some weird and wonderful works of art and learn how to see them in a whole new way. You'll discover how to decipher clues in artworks, learn about some of the world’s most famous artists, and get to draw and discover exciting stories behind their amazing works. No prior art experience or knowledge is needed - just bring your curiosity, a pen and some paper! Perfect for young art rebels who love to learn, create, and explore, this free event is a perfect introduction to understanding art in a fun and enjoyable way.
Ben Street is an art historian and writer. He has worked as an educator for many museums, including MoMA and the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, New York, the National Gallery, Tate and Dulwich Picture Gallery, London.
