Join artist and designer Lucy Grainge for Creative Dyslexia Workshops at the Royal Society of Sculptors
Join artist and designer Lucy Grainge for Creative Dyslexia workshops at the Royal Society of Sculptors.
The drop-in sessions will explore and celebrate neurodiversity, and the things that make our brains extraordinary, through creative and hands-on activities. Create a sculpture to plant in our community flower garden that reflects your own unique way of thinking and seeing the world.
The sessions will explore both the challenges and strengths that being dyslexic can bring and we will consider the different ways we all learn.
Lucy has undertaken extensive interviews and examined research into dyslexia, and uses her artwork and outreach to break down the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding it. Her work focuses on storytelling, sharing experiences and being positive about dyslexia.
The Creative Dyslexia workshop is open to young people from 6-16 years (as well as parents/ guardians and families) who live or study in the following boroughs: Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea & Westminster.
Adult supervision required.
