Warm up for Halloween by drawing some creepy vintage taxidermy with talented artist Merlyn.
Come and sharpen your drawing skills with talented local artist Merlyn Griffiths, aka The Littlest Falcon, during this special Big Draw event on Saturday 12th October at Hartlepool Art Gallery.
Using the museum’s own taxidermy and other collection items, Merlyn will guide everyone through a series of fun drawing activities to help beginners and improvers alike.
This free workshop is suitable for anyone aged 6 and over. Places are limited. Advance booking required

Family Friendly Facilities: We run regular sessions for families to help you engage with our exhibits and learn together to create family experiences and memories. There are also a number of self-led activities to experience during your visit to us including trails and reading dens.
It is free for everyone but there is a small charge for visiting the clock tower.
Accessibility:
A manual wheelchair is available on request from the main reception. There is no charge/deposit for this service.
There is a separate accessible toilet close to the café . This toilet has grab rails and a door which opens outwards. It is easily accessible by wheelchair.
There is step-free level access throughout the Art Gallery. Lightweight Walk and rest stools are available.
