During October half term we're inviting you to help us draw the longest minuet. From the 21 to 29 October, you’re invited to help draw the longest minuet! On the wall of the Bath Assembly Rooms is a picture titled: A Long Minuet as Danced at Bath which was published by William Dickinson in the late 1700’s and we want your help to create an even longer one.

The original drawing was 5ft long, and we plan to put one long piece of paper the length of the Ball Room up, so that everyone can create their own character. We’ll have pens, paper and even some colouring in sheets with various characters dancing the minuet, simply draw your own or colour one of ours in and add it to the long piece of paper.

We’ll measure the drawing at the end of the week to see how long everyone made it.

Drop-in with your friends and family between 10am and 3pm and have a draw. There will also be some games, books and toys available in the room for you to enjoy.
