Do you or your child struggle to express, explain & deal with feelings? Is bottling things up getting too much? Are emotions a mystery?
Join Trauma Therapy by Trish for this group session in Coventry to discover emotional and symbolic expression.
This is a Drawing & Talking group approach taster session - there is no commitment to book further sessions. (If there is interest, a future 6 week programme may be offered at a later date, attendees of this event will qualify for a discount from the full programme).
Suitable for the whole family - come as a group or on your own. (Age 7yrs +).
All children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult. All guests must take part and therefore require a ticket.
This is a family friendly event, all attendees are respectfully asked to monitor their language and actions particularly where children are present.
This group Drawing & Talking technique helps participants to;- become more aware of their own feelings and how they feel within them
- develop an understanding of how to handle those feelings
- share feelings with others, and see that others experience them too
- communicate those feelings and concerns
- express their feelings sybolically through drawing
During taster sessions we will explore one emotion, from a range of the more comfortable feelings - a full 6-week programme would also explore the more uncomfortable feelings.
